Clayton is one of the leading fishing capitals of New York State, and is noted for Small and Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Walleye, and many assorted pan fish. Truly a fishermen's paradise, Clayton has been the site of several B.A.S.S. New York Invitational Tournaments since 1985, with a total purse of more than one milion dollars to date.
The area is a water lovers dream, recreational boating, swimming and water skiing are among the most popular pastimes. In addition to Clayton being known for outstanding fishing, sportsmen also flock here in October and November for some of the best duck and goose hunting in the world.
 They are within walking distance to the Antique Boat Museum, 1000 Islands Museum of Clayton, and the Thousand Islands Craft School. Clayton also has many unique gift and souvenir shops just minutes from the motel.
Their units are air conditioned, have full electric heat and color cable TV, and they are recommended by Mobil Travel Guide and AAA. They accept major credit cards. Reservations are recommended, and deposits are requested. Sorry, but they cannot accommodate pets.
