
The 1000 Islands Region is found along the Saint Lawrence River
along the northwestern edge of New York State and Southeast Ontario.
The region starts on the west where Lake Ontario empties into the
St. Lawrence River at Cape Vincent, and extends to the northern edge
of St. Lawrence County at Massena on the US side.
On the Canadian side of the border the 1000 Islands Region extends
from Kingston to Cornwall, Ontario.
